Timothy R. Dougherty

Photography is my life-long passion. It is my personal conduit through which I express emotions, and capture the wonders of people, life, and nature. My work is meant to evoke thought about both the mundane and the special moments in our lives.

I picked up a camera as child and I haven’t loosened my grip on one since.

I began my professional photography career working at newspapers, and was recognized with news photography awards from the Associated Press, the Pennsylvania Newspaper Publishers Association, and the New York Press Association.

In time, my career journey moved me away from the news business and into personal projects as my vocation changed.
